Butter cream is a combination of butter and icing sugar whipped together to make a smooth and spreadable coating, which gives a soft and delicate finish to your cake.

This is also commonly used to top and pipe cupcakes, and is spread between cake layers.

fondant

Fondant is a firm and malleable icing which is rolled flat and draped over your butter cream, or ganache prepped cake, providing a smooth and polished appearance.

This is traditionally used on wedding and celebration cakes.  

ganache

Ganache is a blend of premium chocolate and warm cream, mixed until smooth and silky. This is then used to fill and coat your cake for a rich and luxurious finish, ideal for a true chocoholic! Available in dark, milk and white chocolate.
